Permanent Part-Time Retail Associate (Festival)

About the role

Join adidas as a permanent part‑time retail associate, supporting store operations during festival periods and busy days. You will deliver excellent customer service, maintain store standards, and help drive sales while working in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of adidas service to every customer.
• Process sales transactions, including cash, credit, and checks.
• Assist with product ticketing, paperwork verification, and stock flow from back‑room to sales floor.
• Help develop and maintain merchandise displays according to management guidelines.
• Utilise the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain store cleanliness and general housekeeping standards.
• Support loss‑prevention efforts by monitoring the sales floor and reporting suspicious activity.
• Participate in in‑store or digital training to build product knowledge and best‑practice skills.

Required profile

• Passion for retail and customer service.
• Clear, upbeat communication and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Adaptability to handle varied tasks in a high‑volume environment.
• Enthusiasm for fashion and confidence in styling customers.
• Matric certificate with 0‑1 years of retail experience (preferred but not essential).

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS (point‑of‑sale) systems.
• Basic knowledge of Power BI for store performance insights.
