About the role
Fugro is looking for a Payroll Specialist in Cape Town who will ensure the proper setup, processing and generation of the company's payroll across multiple countries or complex entities. The role combines routine and more complex tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Accurately calculate employee salaries, payroll taxes and employee benefit payments
- Configure and evaluate current payroll systems and recommend and develop improvements to operating efficiency
- Monitor and ensure proper documentation of employee benefit payments
- Prepare reports on payroll expenditures, including tax payments and benefit plan disbursements
- Manage all payroll-related functions
Required profile
- In-depth knowledge of applicable tax rules and legislation
- Procedures covering multiple payrolls with different deduction and tax treatments
- Competency in HRIS and its applications
