Payroll Administrator

About the role

Our client in the Global Business Solutions industry is seeking a diligent Payroll Administrator to join their Cape Town team. You will be responsible for processing payroll, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and verify payroll data in client‑supplied applications.
• Set up client and employee profiles, process terminations, and configure deductions.
• Batch, organize, and upload employee files to the client server.
• Maintain daily status reports and monitor pending documents.
• Generate payroll and quarterly allocation reports for selected clients.
• Conduct payroll reviews, post‑payroll transactions, and perform other payroll‑related tasks.
• Follow standard operating procedures, attend training, and report any system or security issues.

Required profile

• Matric and a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related business field.
• Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or willingness to obtain it within one year.
• 1‑3 years of payroll experience.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
