Passenger Bus Driver

About the role
Unitrans is seeking professional bus drivers to operate passenger services on established routes. The role involves transporting passengers safely and on schedule while managing the vehicle’s environment and complying with all company and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Drive a bus on scheduled routes, ensuring timely arrival at each stop.
- Control lighting, heating and ventilation to maintain passenger comfort.
- Observe prescribed speeds, traffic signals and road conditions to guarantee safety.
- Ensure passengers reach their destinations on time and in a safe manner.
- Maintain compliance with company code of conduct, policies and procedures.
- Hold and present the appropriate driving licence and PrDP at all times.
Required profile
- Valid Public Services Driving Licence (PG).
- Proven experience as a professional bus driver.
- Strong mastery of defensive and preventive driving techniques.
- Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and a clean driving record.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to company standards.
