Partner Account Manager – Restaurant Partnerships

About the role

Mr D, a fast‑growing division of the Takealot Group, is seeking a motivated Partner Account Manager to join its Port Elizabeth team. You will be the primary liaison between Mr D and restaurant partners, driving sign‑ups and ensuring successful collaboration on the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize suitable restaurant partners for the Mr D platform.
• Create and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
• Own the restaurant sign‑up process from initial contact to onboarding.
• Serve as the lead point of contact for restaurant partners.
• Strengthen relationships and monitor partner performance and store metrics.
• Provide timely solutions, feedback, and maintain strict restaurant visit standards.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and consultative sales mindset.
• Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
• Good knowledge of the local restaurant industry.
• Self‑motivated, competitive and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Minimum 1 year of prior sales experience, preferably in marketplace, e‑commerce SaaS or hospitality sales.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
