Part-time Financial Advisor

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a motivated Part‑time Financial Advisor to complement an existing role. The successful candidate will provide financial advice to clients, leveraging an existing network and market access while contributing to the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver consultative financial advice to clients on a part‑time basis.
• Utilise existing market segment and personal network to identify sales opportunities.
• Maintain compliance with DOFA/Fit & Proper standards.
• Conduct thorough client assessments, collate and analyse financial information.
• Drive sales through consultative selling and relationship building.

Required profile

• Grade 12 education minimum; NQF Level 5 Higher, Advanced or Occupational Certificate or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle.
• Clear criminal and credit check.
• Strong planning, organising and analytical abilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with resilience and tenacity.
