Part-Time Coordinating Doctor

About the role

International SOS is seeking a part‑time Coordinating Doctor to deliver high‑standard assistance services to international travelers and expatriates. You will act as a key member of the Assistance Team, using your clinical expertise to coordinate medical support worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and assess assistance requests from clients abroad, determining required medical support.
• Arrange care through approved service providers and track case progress.
• Communicate case updates verbally and in writing to clients and partners across multiple time zones.
• Maintain transportation standards for international medical evacuations and logistics.
• Escalate complex cases to senior management or the Corporate Assistance Department as needed.
• Support business development by promoting International SOS services to prospective and existing clients.
• Review and enhance the network of international service providers, including site visits and assessments.
• Participate in educational sessions, promotional talks, and client events.

Required profile

• Medical graduate with strong clinical experience in Emergency Room, ICU, and Flight Medicine.
• Current certification in ACLS and PALS.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Self‑disciplined, responsible, and able to perform on‑call duties.
• Strong command of English.
