Paralegal – LegalTech Customer Service Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Paralegal with a strong passion for customer service to join a fast‑growing LegalTech company in South Africa. In this hybrid legal‑tech position you will combine legal drafting, technical support, and client relationship management to help customers maximise the value of our innovative platform.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and organise legal documents and agreements according to client specifications.
• Provide timely, accurate responses to customer inquiries about services, account management and platform functionality.
• Assist clients with technical setup, including configuring connections to source‑code‑management systems.
• Support sales activities by engaging prospects via email and website channels.
• Prepare clear customer reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve satisfaction, retention and overall service quality.
• Act as a trusted advocate, identifying challenges and guiding users toward successful outcomes.

Required profile

• Motivated, detail‑oriented professional with a blend of legal knowledge and customer‑service experience.
• Background as a paralegal, legal assistant, customer‑success specialist or similar client‑facing role.
• Strong written English communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Analytical thinker with proactive problem‑solving abilities.
