Outbound Travel Sales Advisor (Durban)

About the role

Join Thomas Cook’s fast‑paced contact centre in Durban as an Outbound Travel Sales Advisor. You will be the voice of the brand, assisting customers across phone, chat, social media and email while driving sales of holiday packages.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver world‑class customer service, ensuring first‑time resolution across all contact channels.
• Manage inbound and outbound calls, generate new sales opportunities and convert leads into bookings.
• Build and maintain relationships with partners and suppliers to support sales efforts.
• Problem‑solve on the spot, provide expert travel advice and continuously share knowledge with customers and colleagues.
• Adapt to a dynamic environment, multitask and prioritize competing demands.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months experience in a travel sales role.
• Positive, can‑do attitude with a strong drive to achieve results.
• Experience in a fast‑paced, target‑driven sales and service environment.
• Passion for continuous learning and delivering exceptional holiday experiences.
• Enthusiastic self‑starter able to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Required skills

• Strong IT skills and ability to operate multiple systems simultaneously.
