Outbound Referral Advisor – Telesales

About the role

As an Outbound Referral Advisor you will engage prospective customers, promote OUTsurance products and drive sales while delivering a high‑quality customer experience. The role operates on a performance‑based salary model and aligns with the company’s values of service, passion, honesty and humanity.

Key responsibilities

• Cold‑call outbound leads and convert them into qualified sales opportunities.
• Meet or exceed defined quantity and quality sales targets.
• Provide product guidance, highlight benefits and assist customers in purchasing decisions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge to deliver accurate information.
• Utilise persuasion techniques where appropriate to close sales.
• Handle inbound calls and emails professionally and promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve individual and collective objectives.

Required profile

• Matriculation (Matric) and successful completion of the FAIS Regulatory Exam.
• Relevant qualification for advice‑giving roles (as applicable).
• Previous call‑centre or telesales experience; insurance experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a results‑driven environment and align with OUTsurance’s core values.
