About the role
To create operational order and efficiency in the branch, ensuring that materials are available on time, allowing for effective installation planning and scheduling of installation progress. The Operations Controller will oversee the flow of materials and coordinate with the installation teams to ensure timely project delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and dispatch aluminium, glass and consumables, ensuring accurate documentation and timely movement of stock.
- Issue stock to relevant teams, maintaining proper inventory records.
- Communicate extensively with installation teams, prepare detailed job cards, and keep safety files updated.
- Place glass orders, expedite processing, and follow up on production schedules and delivery timelines.
- Liaise with clients regarding installations, providing updates and addressing queries.
- Control creditors using Pastel accounting software, monitoring payments and outstanding balances.
