Operations Coordinator – Finance & Logistics

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Operations Coordinator who will ensure the financial integrity and logistical efficiency of our business. The role blends financial accounting duties with the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments across the African continent.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accounting records up to trial balance, reconcile creditor invoices, inter‑company loans and balance‑sheet accounts.
• Coordinate import and export shipments, manage customs clearance, and liaise with freight forwarders, suppliers and warehouse teams.
• Generate financial and operational reports, perform variance analysis and support month‑end and year‑end reporting.
• Maintain logistics databases, monitor transportation costs, and produce KPI dashboards for inventory and shipment performance.

Required profile

• Grade 12 and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in finance, operations or logistics, with proven exposure to financial administration and import/export coordination.
• Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP and statutory compliance requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP and accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting capabilities.
• Working knowledge of inventory management systems and logistics documentation.
• Understanding of freight processes, customs procedures and supply‑chain operations.

What we offer

• Salary range ZAR 25,500 – 30,500 per month, based on qualifications and experience.
• 50 % contribution to medical aid pension scheme.
