Operations Controller

About the role

Join Net Set Padel Sandton as an Operations Controller and ensure the club runs smoothly behind the scenes. You will manage stock, reporting, and daily processes across court operations, events, Food & Beverage, and retail, supporting a high‑energy environment where sport and hospitality intersect.

Key responsibilities

• Administer daily club operations and maintain standard procedures.
• Oversee stock control for F&B, retail, and equipment.
• Monitor cost of sales, stock accuracy, revenue controls and produce operational reports.
• Handle reconciliations and support financial procedures.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manage purchasing processes.
• Support events, tournaments and club activations.
• Ensure POS accuracy and compliance with operational guidelines.
• Conduct regular operational checks and identify improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Grade 12 or equivalent; hospitality, sports or business qualification is a plus.
• 2–3 years of experience in operations, hospitality, F&B or a similar environment.
• Experience with stock control, cost management or supplier administration preferred.
• Strong organisational, administrative and problem‑solving abilities.
• Financially minded with a good grasp of operational controls.
• Team player comfortable in a fast‑moving setting.

Required skills

• POS system experience
• Microsoft Excel (advanced)
