Oncology Case Manager

About the role
We are seeking a compassionate, detail‑oriented and clinically focused Oncology Case Manager to support the effective management of Bestmed’s Oncology Disease Management Programme. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing oncology cases, supporting quality and appropriate care for members, and helping to ensure that the Scheme’s clinical and financial risks are effectively managed.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure the Oncology disease management programme limits the Scheme’s risk and delivers quality care for members.
- Proactively identify gaps in care and address them.
- Maintain high quality of work and adherence to procedures.
- Follow protocols and guidelines consistently.
- Meet output SLA (service levels) and operational requirements.
Required profile
- Compassionate and detail‑oriented.
- Clinically focused.
- Grade 12 Diploma in Nursing.
- Minimum 5 years clinical experience.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Oncology disease management.
- Active SANC Membership.
