Offensive & Defensive Security Specialist (Contract)

About the role

Hrvisory is building a lean, high‑performing Cybersecurity Capability to proactively uncover security weaknesses, simulate real‑world attacks, and drive remediation across the organisation. The role operates across offensive and defensive functions, strengthening the overall security posture and resilience of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct penetration tests, red‑team operations, attack simulations and adversary emulation across applications, infrastructure, cloud and networks.
• Identify, assess and validate security vulnerabilities and provide clear remediation guidance.
• Collaborate with engineering, development and infrastructure teams to drive security improvements.
• Contribute to threat detection, incident response, security monitoring and risk mitigation activities.
• Mentor junior team members and engage with senior stakeholders on security strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, IT or related field.
• 8–12+ years of experience in offensive/defensive security, with at least 5 years of hands‑on penetration testing or red‑team work.
• Proven track record of leading security assessments and delivering remediation guidance.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
