Nursing Services Manager

About the role

The Nursing Services Manager will lead the delivery of safe, cost‑effective, high‑quality patient care at our hospital in Kathu, Northern Cape. Reporting to senior hospital leadership, you will ensure clinical governance, promote health and wellbeing, and drive continuous quality improvement across nursing services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe, cost‑effective patient care aligned with the hospital’s clinical governance strategy and evidence‑based practice.
• Evaluate nursing quality indicators and clinical outcomes, and implement group quality initiatives.
• Promote health and wellbeing of patients and staff while ensuring strict infection‑prevention standards.
• Manage customer satisfaction initiatives, address complaints, conduct quality care rounds and clinical audits.
• Ensure 100 % reporting of incidents and alerts, investigate and report all incidents per hospital policy.

Required profile

• A relevant nursing qualification (B Cur Degree or equivalent) or a related management qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a medium to large hospital setting.
• Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse and compliance with SANC code and health‑care legislation.
• Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency.
• Clinical expertise within your nursing specialty.
