Night Duty Manager

About the role

The Night Duty Manager is responsible for ensuring continuous, safe patient care and a positive patient experience throughout the night shift. This role coordinates both clinical and non‑clinical resources to maintain high standards of service in a hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient service in line with patient safety standards.
• Achieve clinical quality standards according to established policies and procedures.
• Optimize staff utilisation and competence while upholding the organisation’s core values.
• Supervise night‑time operations to ensure seamless continuation of patient care.
• Efficiently coordinate resources to enhance safe patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in nursing (essential).
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a professional nurse.
• 2–3 years of unit‑level management experience (desired).
• Relevant management or leadership qualification (desired).
