Night Audit Reliever

About the role

The Capital Hotels is hiring a Night Audit Reliever for its Sandton property in Gauteng, South Africa. This is a permanent, full-time position covering night audit shifts, with a stated pay of R8,000 to R10,000 per month.

Key responsibilities

• Check guests in and out of the hotel
• Maintain guest accounts and process guest transactions during their stay
• Deal with special needs or requests from guests during their stay
• Assist with reservations as and when required
• Run the Night Audit shifts

Required profile

• Matric
• Hospitality qualification or similar
• 1 to 2 years of receptionist experience
• Sound knowledge of front office, reservations and general management procedures
• Guest service, communication and engagement skills
• Previous Night Audit experience is advantageous
• Ability to work shifts, work as part of a team and independently, and handle incidents and investigations calmly
• Attention to detail, confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information

Required skills

• Strong computer literacy in MS Office
• A reputable PMS such as Protel
