Newly Qualified Chartered Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a newly qualified Chartered Accountant to join our finance team in Pretoria. This full‑time position offers the chance to apply your academic knowledge to real‑world financial reporting, budgeting and audit support.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in line with accounting standards.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to queries.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards and internal policies.
• Manage day‑to‑day accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure tax compliance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for strategic decisions.
• Participate in ad‑hoc finance projects as required.

Required profile

• Newly qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent certification.
• Relevant accounting or finance experience during or after qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
