New Business Development Executive – Freeway, Traffic & Tolling Systems

About the role

Nortech Systems is looking for a proactive Business Development Executive to grow its presence in the freeway traffic management and tolling monitoring market. The role combines market research, client engagement and end‑to‑end sales management for advanced ITS solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new clients in transportation authorities, toll agencies, infrastructure developers and government bodies.
• Develop and execute market‑penetration strategies for freeway traffic and tolling sectors.
• Conduct industry research to track upcoming projects, technology trends and competitors.
• Initiate client contact through meetings, presentations and industry events, tailoring proposals of Nortech’s solutions.
• Lead preparation and delivery of technical proposals, tenders and quotations, negotiate contracts and oversee bid processes.
• Coordinate with technical teams and project managers to ensure smooth onboarding and provide market feedback.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of business development or sales experience in ITS, tolling or traffic management.
• Proven track record of winning large bids and building strategic partnerships with government or infrastructure clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field; technical certifications a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 70 % for client meetings, site visits and events.

Required skills

• Knowledge of freeway traffic and tolling technologies such as ANPR, ETC systems and traffic data analytics.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to develop and manage technical proposals and tenders.
