Network and Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

The Network and Infrastructure Engineer is the senior technical escalation point for complex system and network issues. You will manage private 5G networks, firewalls, VPNs, and both physical and virtual server environments while ensuring security and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Tier 2/3 escalation for internal and client‑facing system failures.
• Configure and maintain private 5G networks, firewalls, VPNs, and managed switches.
• Deploy, patch, and back up physical and virtual servers (Active Directory, VMware/Hyper‑V, Cloud).
• Implement cybersecurity protocols, manage endpoint protection, and perform vulnerability assessments.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis on recurring issues and coordinate with external vendors.
• Create knowledge articles, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in network and infrastructure engineering.
• Strong proficiency in operating systems, network management and troubleshooting techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse system, application and service logs.
• Experience with private 5G wireless networks.
• Hands‑on experience with container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code.
• Excellent written documentation skills.
