Multimedia Designer

About the role

We are seeking a creative storyteller with a passion for digital design, motion graphics and brand activation. The Multimedia Designer will join a fast‑paced marketing team in Johannesburg, producing visual content for digital platforms, campaigns, video and social media.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts and visual assets for digital marketing campaigns.
• Design engaging content for web, mobile, email marketing and social media platforms.
• Produce and edit high‑quality video, motion graphics and animations.
• Create marketing collateral such as presentations, digital ads, event assets and promotional materials.
• Assist with UI design and digital user experiences where required.
• Ensure all creative work follows established brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver projects within tight deadlines.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging design trends, creative technologies and AI‑powered tools.
• Prepare artwork for both digital and print production when needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Multimedia Designer in a digital marketing or creative environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating digital design, branding, motion graphics and video editing.
• Relevant qualification in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Communication or a related field.
• South African residency or a valid work permit.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.

• Experience creating content for digital, social media and online advertising platforms
• Exposure to Google Web Designer, DaVinci Resolve or similar tools (advantageous)
• Understanding of UX/UI design principles (beneficial)
• Experience with AI‑assisted creative tools (beneficial)
