Mobile Team Leader – Sasolburg

About the role

Hollywoodbets is looking for a Mobile Team Leader to join its Purple Team in Sasolburg, Free State. You will lead a group of sales agents, drive mobile betting promotions and ensure targets are met while supporting the brand’s growth across South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with Area Managers to achieve sales and marketing targets.
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns, promotions and events together with the regional marketing team.
• Facilitate daily promotional activities and ensure all marketing material is available and in good condition.
• Manage stock levels, produce daily stock reports and monitor usage.
• Measure promotion effectiveness using the Promo Tracker and report results.
• Conduct market analysis and suggest improvements for the mobile department.
• Recruit, interview and onboard new sales agents in coordination with HR.
• Set daily targets, conduct performance reviews, handle HR/IR matters and manage under‑performance (PIP).
• Oversee team attendance, leave and absenteeism.
• Identify and visit potential Top‑Up Voucher outlets.
• Organise continuous training on betting types, processes, products and TUV.
• Complete weekly Moodle/Betstrike and voice‑note training; act as Trainer on Wheels.
• Ensure cash‑ups follow procedures, report shortages immediately and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain Booster vehicles – cleanliness, branding, weekly inspections and servicing.
• Submit daily operational reports and perform any other related duties.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
• Ability to understand customer needs and handle diverse personalities.
• Strong listening, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Post‑Matric qualification (preferred).
