Mobile Team Leader – Mtubatuba

About the role

Hollywoodbets is looking for a Mobile Team Leader to drive growth of its mobile betting platform in Mtubatuba, KwaZulu‑Natal. You will lead a team of sales agents, coordinate marketing activities and ensure financial targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve mobile betting growth targets and analyse financial data to identify trends.
• Provide proactive reporting on performance, costs and profitability.
• Collaborate with Area Managers to plan and execute marketing campaigns, promotions and events.
• Ensure marketing materials are available, in good condition and used effectively.
• Manage daily stock levels, usage reports and cash‑up procedures, reporting any shortages immediately.
• Measure promotion effectiveness using Promo Tracker and conduct market research for improvements.
• Recruit, interview and onboard new sales agents in coordination with HR.
• Set daily targets, conduct performance reviews (twice a year) and manage HR/IR functions, including PIP for under‑performers.
• Monitor attendance, leave and absenteeism, and identify potential Top‑Up Voucher outlets.
• Organise continuous training on betting types, processes, products and TUV, including Moodle/Betstrike modules.
• Maintain cleanliness and branding of booster vehicles.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence.
• Minimum 12 months experience in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
• Strong ability to understand customer needs and manage diverse personalities.
• Matric (high school) qualification is a plus.
