About the role

The Mining Contracts Manager will oversee all contractual aspects of mining operations, ensuring strict compliance with safety, operational and regulatory standards. This senior position requires a solid mining foundation and the ability to manage contracts in high‑risk environments.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate contract administration for mining projects.
• Ensure all mining activities comply with safety and operational standards.
• Monitor contract performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Negotiate terms with suppliers, contractors and service providers.
• Maintain accurate contract documentation and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in heavy industrial operations, drilling and mining.
• Proven management experience in mining environments.
• Mine Managers Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in contract management and negotiation.
• Diploma or degree in a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely in high‑risk settings.
• Additional certifications in mining management are a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
