Millwright (Injection Moulding) – Durban

About the role

Our client is a packaging manufacturer seeking an experienced Millwright to maintain and repair injection moulding and related equipment in Durban.

Key responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of electrical, electronic, mechanical and production equipment.
• Installation of control panels and electrical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
• Maintain machines according to service schedules defined in the CMMS and OEM manuals.
• Troubleshoot control circuit faults on production equipment and analyse equipment breakdowns, recording root‑cause information on job cards.
• Perform approved modifications, rebuilds and refurbishments to keep production lines running optimally.
• Conduct routine safety checks to ensure compliance with electrical/electronic specifications and plant health, safety and quality programmes.

Required profile

• Matric and N3 certificate or equivalent, plus a valid Millwright trade qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a qualified Millwright in industry.
• Knowledge of injection moulding machines (e.g., Engel, Netstal, Arburg) or similar technologies.
• Willingness to work shifts and be called out on night shift if necessary.

What we offer

• Salary range R350,000 – R400,000 CTC per annum.
