Mid-Weight Graphic Designer – Digital Media

About the role

Our client, a leading digital marketing and technology consultancy, is expanding its creative team in Johannesburg. They are seeking a mid-weight Graphic Designer with a focus on digital media to produce engaging visual assets for a variety of client campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Design creative assets for digital marketing campaigns across multiple client accounts, including social media, websites, digital ads, email marketing and presentations.
• Create printed marketing collateral, promotional material and corporate communications that adhere to brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with account managers, strategists and digital specialists to develop concepts and campaign ideas.
• Prepare artwork for both print and digital production, ensuring files meet technical specifications.
• Manage several projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
• Stay current with design trends, emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or Multimedia Design.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably within a digital marketing, advertising or creative agency.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating digital and brand design work.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Experience with After Effects or Premiere Pro for motion graphics or animation.
• Basic UI/UX design knowledge.
• Designing HTML email campaigns.
• Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools.
