Mid to Senior Interior Designer – Hospitality & Commercial Projects (Tanzania)

About the role

We are seeking a Mid to Senior Interior Designer to join a dynamic design team working on large‑scale hospitality and commercial projects in Tanzania. The role requires relocation to Tanzania and involves delivering projects from concept through to detailed design and implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute interior design concepts from initial sketches to detailed design.
• Produce comprehensive drawing packages and technical documentation using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Resolve design and technical challenges while meeting project specifications, budgets and timelines.
• Assist in the delivery of large‑scale hospitality and commercial developments.
• Contribute to design presentations, material selections and project coordination meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of professional interior design experience.
• Proven experience on hospitality and commercial interior projects, preferably large‑scale.
• Strong technical detailing and construction documentation skills.
• Solid understanding of interior construction methods, materials and project delivery processes.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit.
