Mid-Level Full Stack Software Developer

About the role

Our client, a growing software development company in Centurion, Gauteng, is seeking three mid‑level full‑stack developers. The role is office‑based initially, with the possibility of hybrid work after a six‑month probation period. You will contribute to the design, development and delivery of modern web applications for enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain enterprise‑grade web applications.
• Design scalable, secure and high‑performance solutions across the full stack.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product owners and other developers to translate requirements into technical deliverables.
• Write clean, maintainable and well‑documented code and participate in code reviews.
• Debug, troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Assist in system architecture decisions and contribute to Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field (advantageous).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Required skills

• Backend: PHP, Laravel, Node.js, Python, Django, Flask.
• Frontend: Vue.js, React, Angular, Next.js, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server.
• Cloud/DevOps (advantageous): AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
