Microsoft Sales Specialist

About the role

Our client in Pretoria is seeking an experienced Microsoft Sales Specialist to drive growth for the Microsoft Cloud Division. You will manage a robust sales pipeline, engage customers on business outcomes, and position Microsoft solutions as strategic assets.

Key responsibilities

• Build, manage and maintain a strong Microsoft sales pipeline across existing and prospective customers.
• Identify, qualify and progress opportunities for Microsoft 365, Azure, Security, Copilot, Managed Services and CSP licensing.
• Maintain disciplined opportunity tracking, forecast accuracy and CRM hygiene.
• Develop account and opportunity plans aligned with division priorities.
• Grow existing relationships and acquire new customers by focusing on business outcomes rather than product features.
• Lead consultative discovery conversations to uncover customer priorities, challenges and cloud opportunities.
• Create proposals, presentations and business cases that articulate value, roadmap and ROI.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling Microsoft Cloud solutions (Microsoft 365, Azure, Security, Copilot).
• Strong pipeline management and forecasting skills.
• Consultative, business‑focused selling approach.
• Ability to develop account plans and align them with strategic priorities.
