Microsoft AI & Cloud Growth Lead (Cape Town North)

About the role

We are looking for a commercially‑minded leader to accelerate growth across Microsoft AI, Data, Azure and Security. The role bridges market opportunity, sales execution and technical capability to deliver measurable customer and commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop opportunities across AI, Data, Azure and Security, creating demand through workshops, assessments and proof‑of‑value engagements.
• Work with the Software Sales team to uncover opportunities, equip sellers with Microsoft propositions and coordinate early Cloud Services involvement.
• Package technical capability into repeatable customer propositions, coordinating assessments, PoCs and technical engagements.
• Drive targeted go‑to‑market programs, coordinate executive engagements and turn Microsoft priorities into demand‑generation activities.
• Translate Microsoft strategy into regional execution, manage co‑op activities, funded programs and maintain reporting for Proof of Execution.

Required profile

• Matric and tertiary qualification.
• 5‑8+ years of vendor experience, including GTM strategic work and client engagement across AI, Data, Azure and Security.
• Strong commercial understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem and enterprise technology market.
• Credibility in AI, Data, Azure and Security conversations without needing deep technical specialization.
