MHR Regional Operational Lead

About the role

The MHR Regional Operational Lead is responsible for managing a team of coordinators who place qualified MHR agency members with our clients across the MHR North region. This role ensures high‑quality staffing services, compliance with standards, and supports business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of coordinators.
• Provide an effective staff placement service to clients.
• Compile month‑end reports, analyse data and address any deviations.
• Assist in business development and client engagement activities.
• Manage and enforce the code of conduct within the team.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Nursing or Emergency Medical Care (EMC); a diploma or degree in Management is desirable.
• 2–3 years experience as a registered nurse or ALS in a managerial role, with experience in the healthcare industry and handling near‑miss events.
• Experience in temporary employment services and staff recruitment is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of healthcare professions’ structure and scope of practice.
• Understanding and application of the code of conduct and relevant legislation (BCEA, LRA).
• Excellent administrative, client service, verbal and written communication abilities.
• Leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems.
