About the role
The Department of Defence is recruiting a messenger for its Directorate HER CM PSAP, based in the Bank of Lisbon building in Pretoria. The position involves fetching and delivering documents and assisting in the administrative office.
Key responsibilities
- Fetch and deliver documents and articles.
- Assist in the administrative office.
- Update the register of documents delivered and received.
Required profile
- A minimum of NQF Level 1 (ABET Level 1-4 / Grade 3-9 / Standard 1-7).
- Applicants with prior learning through experience or alternative courses may also apply.
Required skills
- Basis numeracy and basic literacy.
- Basic interpersonal relationship skills.
- Organising skills.
Applications must be made using the Z83 application form available from any Public Service department; the form must be signed when submitted. Applications are sent to the Department of Defence, Director Human Resource Career Management PSAP, Pretoria, or handed to the Bank of Lisbon building. Late applications are not accepted, and the closing date was 19 April 2022.
