Merchant Success Consultant – Activation Specialist

About the role
Yoco is looking for a Merchant Success Consultant to drive early‑stage activation of new merchants during their first 30 days. You will help merchants unlock the value of Yoco’s POS device by guiding them through product catalogue creation and daily transaction habits.
Key responsibilities
- Proactively contact newly onboarded merchants within the first 30 days of device receipt.
- Conduct structured activation conversations via calls, chat, or approved outreach channels.
- Introduce the benefits of daily POS usage and encourage consistent transaction behaviour.
- Guide merchants through creating and managing their Product Catalogue, using an AI‑assisted internal tool to simplify setup.
- Educate merchants on how catalogue adoption improves speed, accuracy, sales tracking and overall business insights.
- Monitor activation metrics such as catalogue completion rate, early transaction frequency and outreach compliance.
