Merchandise Coordinator – Clothing and Fashion

About the role

Apple Blossom is looking for an organised, detail‑oriented Merchandise Coordinator to manage clothing orders from style confirmation through to delivery. The role works closely with management, merchandisers, factories, suppliers and customers to ensure accurate style information and timely order processing.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate styles from confirmation to final delivery, maintaining complete files for each order.
• Record and verify style numbers, descriptions, colours, fabrics, trims, quantities, sizes, prices and delivery dates.
• Prepare and update style sheets, order summaries and merchandise trackers.
• Follow up on outstanding information and ensure all departments receive the latest approved style data.
• Monitor sample development (fit, pre‑production, size sets, sealing, customer approval), maintain a sample register and coordinate comments between stakeholders.
• Assist with fabric and trim requirements, confirming specifications and tracking orders, lab dips, strike‑offs, print approvals and delivery dates.
• Report discrepancies, delays or unauthorised changes to management promptly.

Required profile

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple styles and orders simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to work under pressure.
• Attention to detail and accurate record‑keeping.
• Proactive problem‑solver who reports issues immediately.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Experience with order tracking systems or ERP software.
• Familiarity with fabric, trim and sample management processes.
