Member of Technical Staff – Legal Research (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff to lead legal‑research initiatives for a global software leader. Working remotely, you will translate complex regulatory frameworks into actionable technical solutions that guide product development and ensure compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Research and interpret statutes, regulations, and case law to inform product decisions.
• Design and build technical frameworks and automation tools for legal research.
• Partner with product, engineering, and compliance teams to embed legal insights into product design.
• Monitor emerging legal trends and assess their impact on technology solutions.
• Produce technical documentation and guidelines that support legal compliance throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal education.
• Proven expertise in legal research methodologies and regulatory analysis.
• Experience developing or specifying technical requirements from legal concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
