Medical Sales Representative

About the role

Applications are invited for a Medical Sales Representative to join Beier Drawtex Healthcare. The role is based in Gauteng, covering Pretoria and East Gauteng, and reports to the Country Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell Drawtex wound‑care products to doctors, nurses, pharmacists and procurement managers in hospitals, clinics and private practices.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, conduct monthly visits and organise educational meetings.
• Deliver clinical training on product use and wound‑care protocols, acting as the product specialist in the territory.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and launch new product usage across the assigned region.
• Submit daily call reports, weekly work plans and monthly market feedback, and attend sales meetings and medical conferences.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) with a tertiary qualification in Nursing, BSc Health Sciences or a related health‑science field.
• Minimum two years’ sales experience in medical devices or the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in wound care.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
