About the role
We are seeking a mid‑level Medical Negligence Attorney to join our legal team in Florida, Johannesburg. The successful candidate will lead and manage medical negligence and malpractice matters, providing expert counsel to clients and representing them in court.
Key responsibilities
- Lead litigation of medical negligence cases from inception to resolution.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Negotiate settlements with opposing parties and insurance providers.
- Manage case files, evidence, and client communications independently.
- Advise clients on legal strategy, risks, and procedural matters.
Required profile
- Admitted attorney with a valid practising certificate.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in medical negligence or related litigation.
- Proven ability to manage matters independently and deliver results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong client relationship management.
