Medical Delegate – Infant Nutrition (Cape Town)

About the role

Join Nestlé Infant Nutrition as a Medical Delegate in Cape Town, driving the adoption of our infant nutrition solutions during the critical first 1,000 days. You will act as a trusted scientific resource for health‑care professionals (HCPs) and institutions, promoting evidence‑based recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Detail the Nestlé Infant Nutrition product range to approximately 250 HCPs and health‑care institutions within the assigned territory.
• Develop and execute territory action plans, manage call schedules, and monitor call‑rate and strike‑rate metrics.
• Apply the WHO International Code and Nestlé compliance guidelines in all interactions.
• Build strategic relationships with key contacts in both private and public sectors to increase product advocacy.
• Utilise hybrid and remote engagement models to maximise reach and efficiency.

Required profile

• BSc in Dietetics, Nutrition or a Nursing degree.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Medical Delegate or pharmaceutical sales representative.
• Valid driver’s licence and fluency in English.
• Strong planning, organization, communication and negotiation abilities.
• Self‑starter attitude with a results‑driven mindset.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using digital devices for data management.
