Marketing Specialist (12‑month contract)

About the role

IQbusiness is looking for a Marketing Specialist on a 12‑month contract to support a B2B marketing team in Cape Town. The role is hybrid, with three days on‑site and two days remote, and focuses on financial administration, digital asset organisation, and process coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the shared folder structure, ensuring version control, consistent naming and easy access for sales collateral, campaign assets and templates.
• Manage the B2B marketing planner and design‑team pipeline, tracking deadlines and integrating performance indicators into reporting dashboards.
• Produce and distribute the Monthly Marketing Update and govern workflows for email service providers, WordPress landing pages and social‑media briefs.
• Develop a structured process for sharing LinkedIn content with the sales team to maximise organic reach.
• Coordinate with digital marketing and internal stakeholders to close the loop on campaign measurement and asset efficacy.
• Generate and receipt purchase orders, oversee incoming invoices, and act as the primary contact for vendor queries.
• Administer team expenses in SAP Concur and support new supplier onboarding.
• Update PowerPoint sales collateral, create factsheets for new programmes, and support event operations and logistics.

Required profile

• Experience in B2B marketing operations or a similar coordination role.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows and deadlines.
• Comfortable handling financial administration tasks such as purchase orders and invoice processing.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and serve as a reliable backup for colleagues.
