Marketing & Social Media Coordinator

About the role

This position is with a well‑established recruitment business seeking a creative, commercially‑minded Marketing & Social Media Coordinator. The role will drive brand visibility, candidate engagement and client marketing initiatives across multiple digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness and audience growth on LinkedIn, Instagram and other platforms.
• Create and publish engaging content that showcases company news, team achievements, culture, events and new joiners.
• Monitor social media trends, recommend innovative approaches and report on performance metrics.
• Produce marketing materials such as information packs, consultant biographies, case studies, testimonials and employer‑branding content.
• Manage long‑term market‑focused content including industry insights, market intelligence reports, salary surveys and sector‑specific hiring activity updates.
• Define and support a LinkedIn strategy for the business and individual consultants, providing guidance on personal branding, content creation and network expansion.
• Strengthen employer branding through team showcases, office photography, video content and employee‑engagement initiatives.
• Maintain the content calendar for social posts, blogs, newsletters and recruitment events; support SEO initiatives and ensure accurate vacancy publishing across websites.

• Enjoys developing social media strategies and supporting business growth through innovative marketing campaigns.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends and analytics.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with recruitment consultants.
