Marketing Manager – Product

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager – Product to lead product marketing strategy across the business and its franchise network in Johannesburg North. This senior, commercially‑driven role combines brand, product and B2B marketing expertise to drive awareness, adoption and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the product marketing vision, aligning plans with business, sales and franchise objectives.
• Translate product value propositions into clear, compelling customer messaging and narratives.
• Plan and execute integrated offline and digital campaigns, targeting specific customer segments.
• Support sales and franchise partners with collateral, tools, training and resources.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis and product‑trend monitoring.
• Manage product launches, events, activations and franchise‑specific marketing requests.
• Oversee relationships with local and international vendors, agencies and suppliers.
• Forecast, manage and monitor the marketing budget and report performance to stakeholders.
• Lead, coach and develop the marketing team, setting objectives and supporting growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management or Business Administration (essential).
• 8–10 years of experience in brand or product management, preferably within a franchise environment.
• Strong B2B marketing background and experience with global and local brand/product management.
• Proven experience in integrated marketing communications, content development and campaign execution.
• Budget, agency and vendor management experience.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, influencing and stakeholder‑management skills.
