Marketing Intern – 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract

About the role

This 6‑month fixed‑term internship offers a graduate the chance to work within a dynamic FMCG environment focused on personal‑care products. You will support the marketing team on a variety of projects while gaining hands‑on experience in market analysis, brand development and product innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with all marketing‑related tasks and cross‑functional projects.
• Research competitors’ offerings and pricing to identify opportunities.
• Help develop strategic marketing mixes and analyse sales data to spot trends.
• Provide recommendations for brand development and support new product innovations.
• Prepare advertising and creative briefs, and copywrite marketing literature.
• Implement and capture results from fragrance tests.

Required profile

• Meticulous, deadline‑driven with a strong eye for detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle pressure.
• Professional demeanor with internal and external stakeholders.
• Team‑player with strong work ethics and a willingness to learn.
• Marketing, Finance, Business Science degree or IMM Diploma (Matric with pass in HG Maths preferred).
• No prior work experience required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel.
• General computer literacy.
