About the role
This internship offers a unique opportunity to work within the dynamic fresh‑fruit export sector in South Africa. You will gain hands‑on experience in post‑harvest handling, international trade, and marketing while supporting commercial and logistical operations.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate relevant administrative, logistical and operational matters.
- Plan, lead and coordinate managerial functions as defined by the company.
- Process and organise information.
- Ensure effective communication and administration in a complex supply chain.
Required profile
- BSc or BCom degree in Marketing, Logistics, Agricultural Economics or Agriculture.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Proficiency in Afrikaans is advantageous.
- High degree of computer literacy.
- Strong organisational and planning abilities.
- Self‑confident with strong negotiation skills.
- Collaborative teamwork and leadership capabilities.
- Ambitious, self‑motivated and results‑driven.
- Problem‑solver able to perform well under pressure.
- Integrity, sound ethics and high personal standards.
- South African citizenship, under the age of 30.
- Preference given to applicants from previously disadvantaged backgrounds.
