Marketing Coordinator

About the role

Join a well‑established organisation in Johannesburg as a Marketing Coordinator, where you will drive a variety of marketing projects from concept to completion. This on‑site position offers the chance to work closely with internal teams, external agencies, and suppliers to deliver impactful campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate marketing projects and campaigns, maintaining plans, schedules and progress reports.
• Liaise with internal departments, external agencies and suppliers to ensure seamless execution.
• Assist with campaign planning, implementation, reporting and brand compliance checks.
• Proofread marketing materials and manage revisions.
• Organise exhibitions, trade shows and events, handling logistics and stakeholder communication.
• Update website content, monitor functionality and oversee social media channels.
• Compile performance reports and support budget tracking.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within the department.

Required profile

• Grade 12 Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations or related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in a similar marketing coordination role.
• Valid driver’s licence, own transport and willingness to travel.

Required skills

• Experience with social media management tools.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS).
• Knowledge of marketing analytics platforms.
