Marketing Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Marketing Coordinator to support the implementation and day‑to‑day operations of programmes, campaigns and projects across the Marketing and Communications Division of Capitec. The role will act as a hub between various portfolios, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the rollout of marketing programmes, campaigns and projects across multiple portfolios.
• Manage timelines, resources and documentation for concurrent initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Utilise coordination and administration tools to track progress and report status.
• Assist with internal and external communications, digital marketing activities and e‑commerce support.
• Contribute to data analysis, client profiling and segmentation activities.
• Apply agile project management principles to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a marketing administrative or coordinator role.
• Previous experience in an agency or in‑house marketing department.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects or campaigns simultaneously.
• Strong stakeholder and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Grade 12 with a National Certificate/Vocational qualification or a tertiary qualification in Marketing or Communication; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Required skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge of general marketing processes, digital marketing and e‑commerce.
• Familiarity with data analysis, client profiling, segmentation and agile project management.
