Marketing & Business Development Assistant – Operations

About the role

The Marketing & Business Development Assistant – Operations will support Hogan Lovells Cadwalader’s global marketing activities. You will work closely with practice, industry and regional teams to create, manage and distribute high‑quality marketing content and business development materials.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and maintenance of marketing content, lawyer biographies, brochures, pitches, and online materials, ensuring a consistent tone of voice.
• Support legal directory and awards submissions, including updating trackers, referee lists, biographies and ranking analysis.
• Administer sponsorship requests, event logistics, webinars and conference materials.
• Collaborate with M&BD Operations colleagues to keep processes and systems current, and contribute to technology and AI‑driven improvements.
• Act as the internal guardian of the firm’s brand guidelines, SOPs and reference guides.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Hogan Lovells Cadwalader’s practices, industry sectors and competitive positioning.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, timely deliverables.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to work across multiple teams and regions.
• Comfort with managing large volumes of client and matter data.
