Manufacturing Finance Analyst

About the role

The Manufacturing Finance Analyst will act as a dedicated finance business partner for Ford's manufacturing operations in Pretoria. You will provide timely, accurate financial analysis and reporting to support cost management, operational efficiency, and the plant’s performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Support plant financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and reporting processes.
• Analyse manufacturing costs, variances, operating expenses, material and labour costs, and key performance indicators.
• Provide financial information to plant leadership and cross‑functional partners.
• Assist month‑end close, financial reviews, reconciliations and management reporting.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, financial risks and process improvements.
• Prepare business cases, financial models and investment analyses as needed.
• Develop, build and maintain automated financial and operational reports, dashboards and data models.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate reporting needs into user‑friendly solutions.
• Train plant users on automated and self‑service reporting tools.

Required profile

• Comfortable working with large data sets, financial systems and automation tools.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical reporting solutions.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
