Maintenance Technician

About the role

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join its Production department in Midrand. The successful candidate will support the reliability of plant equipment through both mechanical and electrical maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on production equipment.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans to minimise downtime.
• Perform equipment inspections and condition monitoring to identify early signs of wear.
• Utilise the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work order creation, tracking and reporting.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and OEM documentation to ensure correct installation and servicing.
• Maintain SHEQ and GMP compliance during all maintenance tasks.
• Support root‑cause analysis investigations and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in industrial maintenance, preferably within a beverage or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work safely and follow strict quality and compliance standards.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and willingness to collaborate with engineering teams.
