Maintenance Supervisor – Food Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance function within our food manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will ensure that all equipment operates reliably, support production targets, and uphold the highest standards of safety and food‑quality compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and execute preventative and corrective maintenance activities across the plant.
• Supervise and develop a team of maintenance technicians, assigning work orders and monitoring performance.
• Maintain compliance with food‑safety regulations, occupational health and safety standards, and internal quality procedures.
• Manage breakdown incidents, troubleshoot equipment failures and coordinate with production to minimise downtime.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of PLC‑based control systems.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Millwright or a related discipline.
• Proven supervisory experience in an industrial or food‑manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of food‑safety requirements and workplace safety practices.
